Submitting digital Files.
This is the preferred method for submitting files for inclusion in the CBS club web site Member Photo Gallery .
This following information provides image file specifications and file submission methods for submitting digital image files to the CBS web site Members' Gallery.
Image Dimensions.
Images must fit within a 450 pixel square canvas.
The exact target dimensions for CBS Members' Gallery images are as follows:
Decorative Borders and Drop Shadows.
Do not use decorative borders or drop shadows around your images unless you are absolutely certain that they make a significant contribution to the aesthetic value of your images. Any borders or drop shadows must be within the maximum pixel sizes above.
File Format and Compression.
File format must be JPEG using jpg as the file extension. Compress your images to achieve maximum quality (equivalent to Photoshop compression quality of 8 -- "large file"). Your files will be optimised for viewing on the web prior to being released to the gallery.
File Naming. Please use a maximum of 32 characters including the file extension when you name your files. Use only lower case characters, do not use any spaces, slashes or extended characters in the file name. Use only jpg as the file extension. As a convenient method to prevent duplication of file names by other exhibitors and to help the site administrator identify your files, please use your name and a sequential number for each file
Submitted.
